Rock Your Research Podcast - Summer 2015 - Present
Along with a fellow graduate student, I created a podcast called Rock Your Research, dedicated to helping and inspiring graduate students. In each episode, a guest is interviewed who shares their graduate school story and their (sometimes adventurous) path to a meaningful career. I do a lot of the behind the scenes work on Rock Your Research like website design, content creation, and editing. Currently, there are 26 episodes, and the show has over 10,000 downloads. Science Olympiad Event Leader and Judge - 2010-Present
I've been involved with the NC Science Olympiad at the Regional and State levels for many years. I started off as a judge for the engineering and construction events. In more recent years, I've been an event leader. This means that I organize events, set up construction areas, and write tests for knowledge events.
